Ingredients

24 jumbo pasta shells
2 cups ricotta cheese
300 g frozen spinach, thawed and squeezed
1 egg
2 cloves garlic, minced
¼ tsp nutmeg
2 cups marinara sauce
1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella

Preparation

Step 1

Cook jumbo pasta shells until just al dente. Drain and let cool slightly.

Step 2

Mix ricotta, chopped spinach, egg, garlic, nutmeg, salt, and half the mozzarella.

Step 3

Spread a thin layer of marinara in a baking dish. Fill each shell with the ricotta mixture and arrange in the dish.

Step 4

Top with remaining marinara and mozzarella. Cover and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 30 minutes.
