3 lbs pork shoulder
1 cup BBQ sauce
2 tbsp smoked paprika
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp garlic powder
2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
4 cups shredded cabbage
2 carrots, shredded
¼ cup mayonnaise
6 brioche buns

Preparation

Step 1

Season pork shoulder with smoked paprika, brown sugar, garlic powder, and salt.

Step 2

Sear on all sides in a Dutch oven. Add BBQ sauce and a splash of apple cider vinegar.

Step 3

Cover and braise at 325°F (165°C) for 3-4 hours until fork-tender. Shred with two forks.

Step 4

Make coleslaw with shredded cabbage, carrots, mayonnaise, and vinegar. Pile pork and coleslaw on brioche buns.
